Shelly is a high-impact executive coach and strategist with over 25 years of experience guiding leaders, teams, and organizations through complexity and meaningful change. Her career spans corporate, federal, nonprofit, academic, and community sectors, where she has served as a trusted advisor to senior executives, a mentor to developing coaches, and a catalyst for large-scale leadership growth.
As a coach, Shelly partners with clients to foster transformational conversations that elevate awareness, expand perspectives, and build the capacity to lead in dynamic environments. She helps leaders deepen their understanding of themselves, their teams, and the systems they influence—enhancing strategic thinking, emotional agility, and resilience. Her work is grounded in adult learning theory and vertical development, enabling transformative shifts in how leaders think, act, and relate.
Shelly has designed, developed, and delivered leadership coaching programs and curricula that have met the rigorous accreditation requirements of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). As a coach educator, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of leadership coaches by mentoring and equipping them with the tools needed to evoke awareness and insights that facilitate client growth.
Shelly served as Director of Coaching Programs & Services at CI International, where she launched the firm’s first coaching division and expanded its vetted coach network 300%. She previously held leadership roles at the management consulting firm, ICF International, where she led multimillion-dollar public health and communication programs for federal clients, and at the American Diabetes Association, where she originated nationally scaled multi-cultural health initiatives.
Shelly holds an M.A. in Social Psychology from American University and an Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University. She has earned the designation of Master Certified Coach by the ICF and served more than 10 years on the faculty as an adjunct professor at the Institute for Transformational Leadership at Georgetown University.
