PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Kenny is an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC), Master Facilitator, Master Educator and Strategist with 6500+ hours training and coaching leaders and teams in over 25 countries. His dynamism and skills are derived from 24 years as a CIA undercover officer, 17 as a business executive, 19 overseas, and re-inventing himself repeatedly to adapt to new leadership paradigms, cultures and work environments (including combat zones). He blends a global perspective with deep human connection.
Kenny’s mantra is Discover, Decide and Do What Matters. He motivates and guides leaders, individuals and teams to achieve a transformative “Mindset Reset” and equips them with practical tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) to sustain meaningful change.
Drawing on his experiences—including two years in Afghanistan during the height of the war—Kenny develops and provides experiential training and keynotes on essential leadership characteristics; team alignment and cohesion; identity and values; and constructive conflict.
As an adjunct faculty member, he has educated and advised students at Georgetown, Arizona State, Thunderbird and George Mason universities. While serving as Director of Pro Bono Initiatives and Strategic Partnerships for the ICF Metro DC Chapter, Kenny launched and led the first-ever ICF peer-to-peer pro bono coaching program for dozens of displaced Ukrainian coaches from March 2022 - May 2023. He is the lead advisor for the Coaching Warriors Forward Project and serves on The Grounded Idealist advisory board. Kenny is a subject matter expert in living and leading with authenticity and transparency; cohesive teams; and cultural and situational awareness.
