Jon’s coaching focus is helping clients align their work and personal lives with their most closely held values and aspirations. He is a believer in lifelong learning and mindful daily practice in the service of personal growth. As a trained ontological coach, his focus is on helping clients to become observers of the way they see and act in the world and as a result, to question some of their assumptions and beliefs so that new possibilities for action can emerge. A coaching conversation takes place to serve this transformational learning. Coaching differs from other helping professions in that it asserts that the coachee is creative, resourceful, and whole, and hence can be an active partner in the process of transformation.

Jon provides utter discretion and non-judgmental attention to create a safe environment for fearless exploration and co-creation with clients. He works with private sector executive clients and serves government clients through a range of leadership training programs, serving agencies such as the Federal Intelligence Community, U.S. Army, Customs and Border Protection, Veterans Administration, U.S. Air Force, and FDA. He also serves as a coach for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.

Prior to entering coaching in 2014, Jon was CEO of a healthcare IT company that built and launched a self-testing medical Web platform and nationwide physician network, and then partnered with the largest laboratory company in the U.S. for a national product rollout. Before that, Jon worked as a division Director for a corporate grassroots public affairs lobbying firm in Washington, D.C. serving Fortune 500 companies. He also worked for years in the financial services industry as a public equity analyst primarily following the pharmaceutical industry, and later as a private equity/venture capital investment manager with a focus on healthcare IT.
